It’s probably somewhat suitable that for a play based on a film that we employ a little bit of film to tell our story. And that’s just what we’re doing with Night Of The Living Dead.

Here’s some of our crew out on a shoot this past Wednesday for something that we hope will form a really special part of our presentation of Night Of The Living Dead. What it is yet, we won’t quite divulge but rest assured, an announcement will be made next week and we think it’s going to be something that’s really going to ratchet up excitement for the play.

A lot of our crew for Night Of The Living Dead work in film a lot of the time also so here you see us all doubling duty in our other guises: our photographer Ross Costigan (still photographing away with Ross Costigan Photography), our producer Ken McGuire (who’ll be doing some title design for this in his Event Media guise) and Richie Cody and myself (of Mycrofilms, who shot and directed and will handle post production). Niamh Moyles, our production designer did just that for the shoot. As did AD David Thompson (who took this nice photo) and cast member Alan Doyle, no slouch when it comes to films, doing the sound.

So yes, we’ve got a little film coming your way soon… it’s only fair to start with the teaser and move onto the main trailer, right?
