The cast for our production of Night Of The Living Dead are Philip Brennan, Darragh Byrne, Alex Christle, Anne Cody,  Alan Doyle, Hazel Doyle, Abbey Harris, Michael Hayes, Adrian Kavanagh, John Kennedy, Kevin Mooney, Aoibhín Murphy, Eddie Murphy, Maria Murray, Niamh Moroney, Colin O’Brien, Nuala Roche, David Thompson, Connie Walsh and Paul Young.

We’ll introduce you to each and every cast member (and the characters play) as we approach the show. We would also like to take the opportunity to welcome aboard Darragh Byrne, Anne Cody, Hazel Doyle, Abbey Harris, Michael Hayes and Nuala Roche, all of who make their Devious Theatre stage debuts with Night Of The Living Dead.

Connie Walsh (Babs)

Connie has previously appeared for us in Shifting playing the part of Eimear. Other credits include Andersen’s Fairytales for Dreamstuff and the lead role of Lydia in YIFM’s feature film The Usurpers.
Night Of The Living Dead also marks her writing debut for the stage.

Kevin Mooney (Tom)

Tom is played by Kevin Mooney. A founding member of our company, he has previously appeared in both versions of Smitten and Heart Shaped Vinyl. Directing credits for us include Heart Shaped Vinyl, Cannibal! The Musical (with Ken McGuire) and Stags and Hens. He co-wrote the PPI Award winning version of The War Of The Worlds with John Morton.

Aoibhín Murphy (Judy)

Judy is played by Aoibhín Murphy. Aoibhín made her debut appearance with us last year as Laura in John Kennedy’s Shifting. This marks her second production. She has previously appeared for Dreamstuff in Wyrd Sisters, The Playboy Of The Western World and The Life Of Brian. Film appearances include Viral for Young Irish Film Makers.

John Kennedy (Frankie)

Frankie is played by John Kennedy. John was previously our associate writer for our In The Future When All’s Well residency last year where we staged his first play Shifting. We are currently in production on his second play Phantasm, which will debut at Solstice this month. As an actor, he previously appeared as Jamie in Shifting.

Paul Young (Harry Cooper)

Harry is played by Paul Young. He has previously appeared with us in Trainspotting (as Mother Superior), Stags and Hens (as The Roadie) and The War Of The Worlds.

Nuala Roche (Helen Cooper)

Helen is played by Nuala Roche. This is her debut appearance with us and we’re very excited to have her on board.

Abbey Harris (Karen Cooper)

Karen is played by Abbey Harris who is also making her debut appearance with us. She’s also the youngest cast member we’ve had on any of our productions so far,

Michael Hayes (Hughie McClellan)

Hughie is played by Michael Hayes. This is his debut appearance with us. A veteran of the stage in Kilkenny, we're delighted to have him on board. His last appearance was the lead role of Mortimer Brewster in Watergate Productions version of Arsenic And Old Lace.

Adrian Kavanagh (Big Jimmy McClellan)

Big Jimmy is played by Adrian Kavanagh. His last appearance for us was in Shifting by John Kennedy where he played the part of Eamon.

David Thompson (Paddy McClellan)

Paddy is played by David Thompson. This marks his ninth production with us. Previous performances include Heart Shaped Vinyl, Cannibal! The Musical, The War Of The Worlds, Accidental Death Of An Anarchist, Can't Pay? Won't Pay! Scratcher, Shifting and Smitten.

Eddie Murphy (Ben)

Ben is played by Eddie Murphy. This marks his fourth production with us. Previous roles include Cannibal! The Musical, Peter Taylor in Stags and Hens and devised and performed in the second production of Shakespeare In Bits.
